WELCOME!
Four Corners Gallery was founded in December of 2003 and is a member gallery of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild.
Works created by established and emerging artist members are selected with the purpose of promoting art that enriches, inspires and feeds the soul. It is with the hope that future generations will connect emotionally to the God-given talent of today's artists' that we paint, sculpt and write poetry. It is our wish that we will be remembered for bringing lasting beauty to this world. To capture and preserve a moment in time is our gift to all who gaze upon and appreciate our passion for art; this is the legacy we wish to leave for future generations to enjoy.
The artists' that you see here are of the same mindset. It is our belief that art should depict inspirational beauty and create an uplifting feeling of joy... traditional art, that is born in the eye, hand and heart of the artist.

It is with gratitude that I honor a few very special people who have touched my life in immeasurable ways:
To artist and friend, Jean Requa Lubin, for mentoring me and showing me the way.
To Richard Stergulz for teaching me to "see".
To Chris Maxon, for her encouragement, guidance and friendship.
To Mrs. Eileen Robertson, Sun Valley Junior High art department, 1955-1957 for her guidance and friendship.
To Dr. Charles Head, for giving me a push in the right direction.
To my daughter, Cathy Gottesfeld and Karlyn Zambrotta,"in the beginning", for their tireless efforts with paint rollers, brooms and laughter.
To my dear friends, Sheri Mc Clain, Randy and Roselie Fulkman, Jaki Markarian, and Brad and Karen Radis, for their continued support of my efforts.
Thank you to my "Fern Valley Emporium" family, Don and Sue Zeigler and Louie Bacher.
To my loving parents, Ray and Judy Camargo, for their faith in me to one day find my bliss. Thanks, Mom and Dad, I've found it...and I thank you for the wonderful memories that I transfer to canvas...I miss you.
And especially to my husband, Dr. William Kern, for his love and encouragement. Thank you for believing enough in me to make my dream come true...I love you.
A special thanks to, "Angus", for sitting on the chair next to my easel and being my "Paintercat".
